This high slot module will, once the user's shield have gone through the recharge delay, restore a set amount of health instantly once.
So let's say I have a flux capacitor that gives 100HP instantly as an example.
I would wait 6 seconds for my shields to start recharging again, and the flux capacitor would restore 100 HP instantly, and then the rest I recharge normally.
So if I have 500 shields, I drop to 1 shield HP, wait 6 seconds, I will instantly have 101HP and then I regenerate normally.
Suggested stats:
Location: High slot
CPU/PG requirements: High/Low
Basic:
100 HP restored
Advanced:
140 HP restored
Prototype:
180 HP restored

That's actually a decent idea. It would need to lower your total shield HP to be balanced, though.
It is, after all, a very strong boost to regeneration. So staying power would be the factor to suffer from it. |

Edit: I'm stupid, didn't read the post correctly, ignore that. BUT, with that in mind, I think your suggested stats would be more accurate it went based on the increase of the regular sheild extenders. They go from 22, 33, then 66. So...maybe, 50, 100, then 200?
The thing is, between STD, ADV and Proto, the regen speed doesn't increase at all on the suit, it only increases through modules and skills.
It's not meant to mimic the progression of extenders, rather to mimic the progression of regen.

Now i would be down for a shield recharge penalty for this extreme charge. Basically a shield booster for dropsuits. Unfortunately we have energizers which are hit or miss for me since they take up so much cpu and i have to use 1 of my only 2 lows to fit a cpu upgrade.
Now i could see putting on this would create a shield depleted recharge delay as the extra time is used to charge the shield booster when the shields are knocked out. Of course, im thinking this only activates if your shield comes down completely
