Was playing with a group that hatched an idea, mostly this other guy who's name escapes me, when you kill an enemy player, you should be able to (if you have this piece of equipment attached) walk up to their body and start a "hacking sequence" aka strapping a weather balloon to their corpse, and if completed would allow you to salvage everything the player had on their suit by hauling them off to the warbarge, could also count towards biomass or break some of the pieces down and give you more isk at the end of the match, thought it was pretty nifty :)

While the idea of corpses dangling below baloons floating across the battle field (just waiting to be shot down and stolen?!) strikes me as hillarious I'm going to vote no.
We have drop uplinks that instantly transfer us onto the battle field. Why not have a piece of salvaging equipment that transports salvaged items back to the warbarge.
Also, being able to salvage every item on a suit including the corpse is OP. It should be a small percentage chance per item (corpse included) so some times you may get ever item salvaged but others you will find nothing (it was all destroyed).
One more potential issue with this is that the corpses littering the ground and forming huge piles would not only become a line of sight obstruction that would also take a tremendous amount of processing time to render as they piled up. This would really decrease in game performance.

How about a deployable equipment that digitally deconstructs all corpses and gear from dead enemies and provides a massive boost in salvage drop rate within its area of effect. A more tactical version could trade AoE for the ability to deny enemy revives, on account that your pillaging thier biomass for delicious profit.

So it's a good job KDR doesn't bother me, really.

mobius' teleporter is a fine idea, don't care how it's done but it could be done, and yeah im thinking that you don't get everything off of the suit but there is a time limit anyway until the whole thing disappears so you would have to snatch the body within that time anyway, maybe give the stuff less of a chance to appear in salvage if it's been there too long or reaches the bleedout time limit.
