ITT: Changes which you think would improve the game, without the need of much effort regarding the implementation. In the best case, just the replacement of some numbers. Any ideas and/or opinions?
Here are some of mine... I tried to keep it brief.
Plasma Cannon: Slight increase in damage for AOE and direct hits.
Flaylock Pistol: Lower rate of fire. Increase in damage for direct hits.
Assault Rifle: Recoil/Dispersion starting with the first bullet, not the 20th.
Scrambler Rifle: Slightly lower rate of fire.
Combat Rifle: Short delay after burst.
Rail Rifle: Slight reduction in damage.
Weapons and modules in general: Consistent, coherent improvement between the tiers.
Installations: Increase in HP. Either WP for repairing them, or slow auto repair. Less WP for destroying neutral ones. |

No.

Right now the accuracy of the of the AR while ADS is one of its few saving graces. I would support the adition of an immediate clime only for the sake of immersion, but that clime should be very low.

Who in the hell try's for direct shots with a flaylock. That's a luck game at best. I actually use the flaylock a lot on one of my alts, it works well as a backup and I'm only op 4 with it.

It is supposed to be an AV weapon so just make it a better AV weapon. Put an extra round in the clip.
You didn't mention the MD or LR. The LR needs some serious work. Here's my LR idea:

I don't ever use the MD so I don't know.

The mighty 4, the rifles, need some sort of adjustment, if it's in ones interest to see more diversion on the battlefield. And since they are all at least about as strong, they'd better get it in a package.

With a high enough direct damge that would be different. Might even make the gun interesting to at least annoy vehicles. The lower firerate would be needed, so it ain't gonna get too strong again, to make it more skillbased... and actually that it feels right. Like the mini rocket launcher it is. |

And I couldn't disagree with you more. The rifles are fine it is the other weapons that are junk. we need to buff the usless weapons not nerf the weapons that are actually working.

It still wouldn't work. The projectile moves far to slow to be counted on for a face to face infantry direct kill. Strafe is to unpredictable.

I've seen that response a couple of times in weapon balance discussions. Usually, either the person likes the TKK as short as it is now, which of course is a matter of taste, and thus fine, even if i think the game loses a big part of it's potential because of it, or after being asked about that, suggests to increase the HP as well. Which indeed would yield about the same results with different numbers, but would mean changing almost the entire system, just to not touch the small part that is the irregularity. I'll skip the part where i explain the reasons to bring up that argument anyway, since those aren't very flattering, and were stated often enough somewhere else. I hoped to skip this part entirely, to be honest.

There is no black and white. Increase the damage enough, and people would use it... 5000? ...1000? ...500? ...What about 400? ...300? The transition if, how many, and in what situations people would use the weapon is fluent. Just a matter of finding the desired sweetspot. The TTK is another influencing factor, when it comes to face to face encounters. Right now there barely is anything other than a hitscan weapon that can be used competitively in such situations.
Ah... I didn't mentioned laser or mass driver since i'm not sure if and what work they could use with a reduced TTK. Maybe none. Regarding Plasmacannon
