or is dust copying/taking ideas off battlefield?
Whenever you get a kill theres that +50 message pops up and after 1.7 it looks more like battlefield.
Same with vehicles being more introduced like battlefield.
Theres more but im hungry so im gonna eat now and its probably just me.
Assassination is my thing.

Something I didn't want to bring up, but I've said this the day 1.7 dropped.
I play a lot of BC2 so it felt nostalgic rolling around in a soma. It felt like my T-90A
Dead on the ground.... Think I made a wrong turn :/

I have yet to receive a ribbon for figuring out which button fires, walking 30m or blowing myself up with a grenade. So I think it's safe to say you're just seeing what happens in a FPS.

Tanks definitely feel very battlefield-esque now. It wouldn't be a bad thing, except I hate using tanks in battlefield.

Does it really matter if they are coping aspect from other top selling games? No it doesnt.
I wouldn't mind if they GÇ£copiedGÇ¥ more aspect from other games; even the equipment weaponry or mechanics of a said vehicle or item. It would open the game massively and add in the thing we like about playing other games to make Dust 514 into an absolute beast!
Anyway that just my thoughts on the matter.

if they copy too much though they are guaranteed to fail anyways, kinda like every MMO ever that tried to "be like WoW" died ebcause they tried to be like a game that already had its playerbase and a majority fo the players who want that kind fo game.
IMO there are 2 things hurting DUSt right now
1) it wasnt released as PART of the EVE client in the first place like players wanted so many years ago, insetad beign released as a F2P FPS on PS3 trying to compete with other standalone shooters with entrenched fanbases
2) diversity, they dont have the equipment, planet, or match diversity they should, i mean the old Procedural Genration ideas and the 100v100 matches, and for the lvoe of god they need to finish up the racial suit variants already. |
