like seriously, twice in a row i got stuck in bad macthes, on was a little lopsided, got thrown into a match on caldari side and our team was still 3 men down because a group had quit, tried to play, wasnt fun, lost bad.
got another match later on, go in, enemy has all 4 points captured, more than 140 clones left, my team is down to 40 clones, and they are all hiding in spawn or MCC taking potshots with snipers because they gaev up... why would it even put me in this match, like seriously, not even worth playing because im not going to eb getting warpoints, just a wasted 5 minutes it would take for the MCC to burn.
put in a cutoff, like if one team starts losing by more than X-amount, it is taken OFF the list for replacement players if people start to quit, because its a pointless match to fight |

You really can't please everyone here. Be angry at quitters, not the replacement system. We either allow quitters to be replaced or we don't.
I don't think you'd want to be in a very close game and all of a sudden have one or more teammates quit on you, and not be able to have a replacement.

thats why im saying, a CUTOFF, if oen team starts losing so abdly the only chance of winning is if the entire enemy team disconnects (the example in my OP is one instance), then DONT refill positions, since all they WILL do is immediately quit upon seeing a match that wil be nothing more than 5 minutes of brushing their teeth with a sander |

What if instead of cutting it off, it only let veteran players in. say, 15m SP + only. this way, the battle may be turned around and the game could stay just as intense the whole way through.

There should be a lock-out mechanic in place. I don't want to go into a match in which the match will conclude in 5 minutes.

I'm ok with a lockout but I think it should be for very, very short remaining timers. Honestly, I'd stay to finish off 5 mins. I'm angry at the quitters but, I'd stay. I can go in and drop two DUs and try to get my team even a little engaged in 5 minutes. But when a game drops me in and I don't even get to the '3 seconds left until deployed' before the match is over...that needs to be fixed.
The only time I've left a game voluntarily was a skirmish where it was 2 of us against 17 of them and the other guy with me left. Most awkward match ever...
