Kind of a hopeless thread, but I'd still like to suggest it:
Remove the large rail from the militia market and from the Sica, being replaced with a militia large missile turret. This will help curb the militia rail tank abuse. Blasters and missiles are fine for counter-tanking with little to no room for abuse, at least redline sniping abuse.
I'd also like to switch missiles and rails in the skill tree (requiring lvl1,5 for missiles, rails, respectively). No real reasoning behind that bar I think rails are too effective to cost so little whereas missiles have the opposite problem.
Thank you, that is all.

I believe blasters and missiles are well balanced, and railguns break the balance. Railguns are just simply too powerful for CQC, acting as the AV variant of blaster turrets.
Blasters should be and currently are strong at anti-infantry and weak at AV. Missiles should be and currently are strong at AV and weak at anti-infantry. Railguns should be in the middle, being strong at long ranged support and weak at CQC.
But, railguns are good at CQC and the only other way to take out a CQC railgun Gunnlogi is with another CQC railgun Gunnlogi. That right there is broken and OP. Missiles should be the best at CQC AV and railguns take their spot beyond medium range. Missiles should be powerful, but their difficulty to use at medium range and their range limit of 250m balances them out.
At CQC, it should be: missile > rail. At long range, it should be: rail > missile.
This makes missile vehicles able to be taken out by both missiles and railguns, and not just themselves, like the railgun is currently.
To do this, railguns should overheat fast (preferably on the third shot) and drop their damage by 100-200. The increased heat cost will make their ROF much slower, making them a bad choice. But their range and accuracy makes them good long range support weapons.

This will also point players in the right direction with their tanks. The Caldari are supposed to be missile users, the Gallente being the hybrids. Putting a hybrid turret on a Sica is going to press new players into speccing into the wrong vehicle and the wrong turret.
If you're wondering how I came to this conclusion, Its all down to how the CPU / PG balance works out. If you do the maths, you'll understand
