Dust 514 is a combination of the idea of the tree of life, and the basics of numerology, both suggest the path of godhood by the likes of us, clones and capsuleers
the number 9 (according to the basics of numerology) corresponds to the highest number anything can go. therefore suggesting that the number 9 represents god. if it were DUST 504, this would prove it. however the total numbers that are added up ( 5+1= 6 +4= 10) seems to suggest that the human race depicted in New eden will become larger than god.
as with the tree of life, the total of 514 is also ten. in the tree of sephiroth (Link here:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f9/Tree_of_Life_%28Sephiroth%29.jpg) there are 10 nodes., on my opinions, it seems that the 10th node represent the pathway to god.( link here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malkuth)
