I would like to share my view about this matter in this game, Tank 514.
When you join a FW for Caldari you only find very low sp suits as allies.
When you join a FW for Gallente you only find proto suit players.
Could this be maybe due to the armor tanking unbalance against shield one? People only make Gallente chars.
Please, discuss. |

You don't have to be Gallentean to fight for Gallente.
Just like I don't have to be Amarrian to side with Amarr.

This is irrelevant. Completely.
And OP, it's because the Gallente espouse 'freedom', where the Caldari are soulless fascist corporate industrialists. Who kick babies. Or something like that anyway.
And they have a better store. After all, everyone uses plates these days, most people have some AR SP, and the Gal suits are pretty boss.
Oh - one last reason.
Generally speaking, for a variety of reasons us has the two already detailed by myself (no matter what Kasote might say) the Caldari FW teams are bad. As you've noticed. Because they're bad, they don't win. Because they don't win, no-one wants to play them. Because no-one wants to play them, they get the dregs. Because they get the dregs, they're bad. Because they're bad...
Well, you get the picture.

Oh, no. I'm in complete agreement about how bad Caldari is. I even mentioned a quite few times that I wouldn't fight for Caldari because of it.
Rolling back to my character statement, the original poster (Tau Lai) said that people were only making Gallente characters and was indirectly saying that because of that, they are fighting for Gallente. I'm pretty sleep deprived tonight, so you'll have to poke and prod me a few times to clarify.

new players start with all factions selected.
a person with get put into the first available battle of the factions they have selected.
caldari has the shortest que time due to an overall lack of players wanting to play caldari and an overabundance wanting to play gallante.
therefore caldari is where the new players get put.
if you play for caldari your volenteering to play with academy freshies unless you que sinq whole teams in |

The only thing I've ever felt bad about (in Dust 514) was accidentally bumping into a friendly's LAV, which set it to below half armor, and then I rolled away as an AI installation shot and killed the blue and his LAV. The other thing that makes me feel bad is punching scouts to death.
Added note: As for Gallente- I normally just roll around in my LAV when I get put on Gallente's side. I prefer not to engage Caldari due to their condition.

Maybee it's time for the caldari scum to run proto and risk somthing to win insted of wining over that the opposite side brings there best gear to win.
