I only just downloaded the game last night, but in the few matches I've played I have this reoccurring glitch where the player list screen will pop up even though I didn't press the button to bring it up. I've had several cases where this happened in the middle of a fire fight and caused me to die. Any help on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. :D |

What control layout are you using? DS3? Mouse/Keyboard? Move controller?

Hi, thank you for contacting us.
I think this should be a controller problem. I have faced that problem too. But for me it would pop out the menu while IGÇÖm sprinting. After changing a new controller, it works normally. But I have received many tickets that changing controllers doesnGÇÖt work. So I guess there should be another issue related to this. If you have more details about this issue. Please let me know.

This happened to me and it was controller related.
I bought a new one and everything was fine.

I am down to three controllers because of this issue. I had 4 until I had to fight the controller while I got into a firefight, and ended up spiking the controller on the coffee table. RIP to my black controller. My blue, and pink controllers do it too, but my silver controller does not. Although it's got a sensitive R3 button, so I'll end up melee'ing while trying to dodge fire. That's annoying in its own right. I plan to get a new controller sometime soon, or maybe a wireless mouse, and try that.
TLDR; controller related bug due to dirty insides, and/or loose battery pack.

Thanks for all the great responses, guys! :D I guess I'm off to buy a new controller.
For you who've been asking for more information, I've been using default controls with a regular PS3 controller. It seems to happen most often when sprinting, but I've had it happen when driving and firing weapons. That's really all the information I have.
The proficient n00b.

Lot of people seem to have this issue. Had a corp mate who said the game was "unplayable" until he got a new one. I dunno what it is though, I have an official Sony DS3 (sixaxis) and despite the plastic being chipped away and rattling on the inside, it works just fine o_o;;
