The factional war with CALDARI vs GALENTE or AMARR vs MINMATAR, why not is arround all NEW EDEN? should be arround all NEW EDEN for be more interesting, and in my opinion a end of the war can be good, how it says whos decide what happend in war are us, but for do it can be good a end and then a restart of the war but that can be a end for do some more interesting in the same way that the war extend to all NEW EDEN. THINGS!!! |

The reasons that the Factional Warfare does not extend to all of New Eden is due to the machinations of CONCORD the policing force in the galaxy who like many others fear that open war across New Eden between the Empires would lead to a massive disaster for all of mankind.
In order for the Empires to conduct their hostilities the maintain a proxy war out in low populated Low Sec space where there are fewer casualties and hire out contracts to mercenaries and capsuleers interested in fighting.
Fighting within the Empires would be massively dangerous and wholly destructive to the peace that many great men worked for.
((Plus its game breaking to the security statuses model of New Eden. High Sec is safe Empire space, Low Sec is FW and pvp space, and Null Sec is where the big name Alliances battle it out for control.))

Faction warfare is mainly a proxy war noe, as the empires themselves are closer to peace now than ever in he past decade. Heth is gone, opening up potential for REAL dialogue between the Gallente and Caldari, and Sarum has taken an extremely liberal stance with the Minmatar, doing everything short of an open appology to the Minmatar people (she is probably the best leader the Amarr have had in recent memory)
I am a firm believer that ccp should steer the eve storyline into ending the two empyrean wars. Removing a gameplay mechanic in favor of story progression is, in my mind, a ballsy move that you don't see in games anymore. Of coure, something just as profitable and enjoyable would have to take its place. Pirate FW anyone? Pit empire factions against the pirates who havr shown to pose a large threat to them with the coming of ghost sites in the rubicon expqnsion. |

That would be nice, that way it would really expands the racial and factional alignments.....even if they introduced those pirate groups as a 3rd faction to FW that would be cool.
