So, my gunnlogi still can't aim down.
Can the maddies still aim down?
Why can't the gunnlogi aim all the way down??

I don't know if it's still the case but in 1.6 a madrugar could shoot it's own hood with the main gun

yes maddys can look down and gunlogis never will ..... gunlogis are ment for ranged engagements i.e. 30m+ where as maddys are ment for cqc to medium range

You know this isnt true. That was how it was supposed to be in the past, but if you will remember, gunnlogis were **** compared to the maddie.
This old saying, because one is built for Upclose and the other Range, seems pointless in this new iteration of tanks. Both tanks are built for CQC and Range. I don't see one being better than the other at either.
A maddie can use a rail just like a gunnlogi. I just see this as giving the range advantage to a maddie, as it has better aiming ability on slopes and hills using a rail!
Gunnlogi's used to be crap compared to a maddie, but everyone always said, oh well the gunnlogi is meant for range, so it can't aim as far down and it's got weaker defenses because of it.
If anything both tanks should have the same viewing, I don't see a point to limiting one or the other, considering it's just as easy to use a blaster as it is a rail.
By your reasoning, Maddies should be restricted to only using blasters, since they are meant for close range engagements.

You don't want damage modded rail tanks to have better gun depression.
It is the only advantage of any sort that a rail maddy has, why make it easier to pick off armor tanks?

Atm gunnlogis are a bit OP in my opinion. Running double damage mods, any tank will melt in 3 shots. 3 damage mods and you will blow tanks up in 2 shots.
In the past, this was just another advantage a maddie held over a gunnlogi. Current tank on tank balance is in favor of the gunnlogi atm, I know. Yet I expect them to attempt to fix this somewhere in the future.
It has just always bugged me when people say it because one is meant for range and the other CQC.
What makes a tank CQC or Range is the FIT not the tank hull.
