Yesterday I hit lvl 6 with Minmatar and stopped playing because the LP payments and standings have been bugged until after downtime. But today after my first match I look at how much standing is required for me to reach lvl 7, 5099 (plus the 75 from the win I just got). Well ok, so whats the big deal? 5099 divided by 75 is 68, which is how many wins I need to reach lvl 7. Ok so still, whats the big deal? Well from 6 to 7, 7 to 8, 8 to 9, and 9 to 10 is 4 levels of standing I still need to aquire to be at max standing and 4 times 68 is 272.
So what does all this mean, get to the point already. The Devs claimed that to reach lvl 10 you would have to achieve 200 wins, but what Ive found is that merely the grind from lvl 9 to 10 is 200 wins on top of what it takes you to get there. Why? Well from the math above you can see that it obviously cannot be any less. The amount of wins you need goes up each level and to get from 6 to 7 alone you need 68 to 70 wins. Even if you needed only that for each subsequent level it would still equate to over 270 wins you need for level 10.
Therefore, it is apparent that its not 200 total wins to lvl 10, but rather 200 wins from lvl 9 to 10. Have fun with the grind to 600some LP suckas!

Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

I'll play FW and will be using BPO fittings until capping out. I will not GRIND FW, but I will spend a good amount of tie playing it. The loyalty store does have some nice things. |

You mean better pubstomping? On Gallente or Minmatar side you don't have to do anything. They always win anyways. |

Actually, I'm normally on Amarr's side. Caldari are unsavable, so I'm going to hold off on helping them. When I do pop up on Gallente's side, I usually just drive around in a LAV until the game is over. The games I play, it's normally every 1/10 games is a loss for Amarr, and even then the wins and losses are normally close.
After all the lag bombing I've seen Minmatar try and still lose, I say Amarr has a chance at retaking quite a bit of land if they organize and schedule out strike sequences, that way we don't take one and then repeatedly defend it. While we defend, another batch will move to the offensive and take.
So, I really don't want to hear about pubstomping. When you see Imperial Scrambler Rifle next to my name, bring friends. I'm a hard ************ to bring down when I use the taboo setup I have.

Im gonna end up eventually putting together a brute squad for caldari games...I havent even been playing much lately because we always get stomped...over and over. I still have 0 standing for caldari thanks to the old remote bug and their win rates...

Just AFK on Gallente or Minmatar easymode sides. Everyone gets the same amount of LP no matter the contribution so it's a win/win since you don't lose any ISK either. Just watch out for teamkillers, and hope there's not many others with the same plan causing you to lose and get less LP.

I wish the LP payouts were higher so I could feel good about actually trying for the Caldari -_-
I need 4 times as many LP as I have now to be where I want to be.

wed-fri i afk pubs to earn isk. rest week i afk to earn lp and standing for minny and gallente. afterall theres not much point in playing tank514 atm so i'm just stock piling goodies
It's only after we have lost everything, are we free to do anything.... Unless CCP take away your BPOs
