We won 9 times in a row. Sorry we were that hard to deal with. A few of us are fighting for Caldari now. Maybe all the frame spray will start coming from the gallente now.

Sweet!
I bet there'll be posts about how bad the Gallente have it now, just like some of the Minmatards have been complaining about how hard to win it is...

I think you may need something like 20 full proto squads playing 24/7 for at least a whole week winning all their games and maybe... just maybe... Gallente might not hold 100% after that. It's a long shot but hey... FW is not broken or anything, right?

I was actually in some of these victory games on the Caldari side. It was a nice change of pace. I finally passed into Lvl 3 standings.
I also laughed my ass off as I noticed how many Gallente were leaving these battles. Poor little froggies. They didn't like the challenge, since they are so used to proto stomping random noobs. |

The only two that I see consistently are science for death and the beercase one... there were others in that giant thread listing which corps fought which side that blatantly did not fight for the caldari (Maphia Clan comes to mind), once they realised it wasn't the usual walkover... |

Yes, it is possible. But what happened during the event? It went 100% to Caldari/Amarr.
What this means is that in this system there's no middle ground, it always makes it so one side continuously reaches closer to 100%. The only way to break that is through a massive displacement of people fighting for the dominating side to start fighting for the losing side but what it produces is the same thing that we'd be trying to undo.
The way battles are attributed needs to be changed. Scotty is programed to look for districts to attack. This needs to stop, it only leads to a faction that has none or close to no districts instanly lose whatever concertated effort they make to fight back.

Well... It went 100% to Caldari/Amarr because they were the only people offering decent rewards.

Correction: The intended mechanic for FW battles nowadays is: Scotty looks for Eve militia members completing their plexes in contested systems. If there would be none, there would be no battles AFAIK

And how does that justify it? I never change my allegiance during the event and i managed to still get rewards for Minmatar. I probably didn't win over 50% of my battles for Gallente but i'm sure i won a decent amount. But when factions show up at 100% while you can get a few proto squads and win the vast majority of your games (Nyain San did that for Amarr this weekend) and your efforts meant zero, it's pretty hard to justify this system.
Back in that event or now, i'm pretty sure the reigning factions are not winning 100% of their battles. But that's what ends up being shown in the starmap. CCP Nullarbor said that when a faction wins over 50% of the battles, they'll conquer territory back. Here lies the issue. There are only 2 possible scenarios in FW.
Scenario 1: Both factions win exactly the same amount of games: 50%-50%. FW starmap control goes back and forth as battles are fought.
Scenario 2: One faction wins 51% of their matches. Controls 100% of the territory. THIS IS THE PROBLEM!

I quit fighting for the caldari when I got auto-booted for using REs, and I didn't want to see what that did to my rank.
However, I still want to fight for them since caldari vehicles are worth getting.

We actually stopped playing FW at all: some of us still fight, but as you may imagine, lag and bad framerate is killing EU players (or there's a bad issue with italian connections...) unless it's EU vs EU.

They need to make it that you can only fight for your race or allies, based on either your dropsuits or your character race... that'd make it so much better and would stop people just playing for the equipment they want from LP!
