Enjoying those scout suits roasting over an open fire? The heavies nipping at your nose? The dropships in the air? That slightly less murderous feeling towards your fellow mercs?
Good. Now let CCP go home and enjoy the holiday with their families. 1.7 was a pretty good patch, they've certainly earned it. The game will still be here for you to play, but come on, does anyone here really enjoy working over the holidays? You think they do?
I call for a cease fire on the forums, until the 26th. Let CCP have some rest time with their families, it's been a rough year. We can get back to irrationally/rationally hating on them and demanding answers to questions after. But until then, let's just let them enjoy the time they have with their family.

While i do believe we should be giving them a break, we have no idea whether or not they're taking christmas break, working through it, or just going to play Skyrim with MP mods at the office.
If CCP would just come out and say 'we are taking a 1-1 1/2 week break to meet back up with our families and we'll reconvene on the first' then a whole lot of us will go away.

And I feel sorry for them. That's the kind of day that should be spent with family, even if you only get one or two a year, everything short of emergency services should just close their doors one day a year to say "Hey, find someone you care about, and spend some time with them even if it's just finding some friends and killing each other in a videogame."

I'm stuck at Fort bragg. Haven't been with my family since last leave after deployment. They can work the holidays to I mean if I can go 3 months without seeing family so can they it's not hard alcohol fixes alot

Hence my constant mentioning of family. They celebrate it, and I go along with them, I give presents, I get drunk, me and my brother have our annual fight, bets are placed, and two drunk idiots beat the tar out of each other. It's my favorite holiday next to the fourth of july.
