I want to get into FW or mission running, but i need to get into mining so i can make the 600mill for a PLEX. Does anyone have a corp to suggest? (Not putting this in EVe forums because i don't think i can trust many of them yet... 4 people got podded right near me) Under 28db Officially nerfproof (predicting CR nerf February '14) I have a God, His name is Dakka.

In case you can't tell, i'm really bad at skill planning and have no idea what i'm doing.(contrary to my DUST beliefs...) Especially sucks since there isn't that visual skill tree. Edit: my main goal for the future though is to get into a destroyer and running OB's for PC/Fw. Goin to have to change my skill queue thiugh. Also, plan ahead for what kind of ship you want and follow the certificates to cover the basics. Use webs, scramblers, and afterburners/MWD if you're going to solo a lot as well. Once you get comfortable enough with the UI, practice manual flight. If you get good enough, you'll never need to use a gyrostabilizer. I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Currently i own a reaper, venture, and (i think this is the name) stabber?(the one with a bonus to webs) My ideal plan is to go into destroyers and stealth bombers. EWAR isn't really my thing, considering ATM i'm fast enough to make webs redundant for range dictation. Be warned, to get enough money you will have to spend a lot of gametime if you still want to have enough money left after you have paid for a plex. First, get in a corp, find mates to fly with and learn how to get rich. Compared to most eve players, DUST players are very poor even with several millions of isk in their wallets. You can be called a "wealthy" (not rich that is even a step above) person in eve if you make 1-2 billion in a month.

Plus tackling adds to your value as a new player. For general usage, I would stick with a Rifter. It's not as powerful as before, but it's still a solid ship for its versatility. Sadly, manual flight is point and click. Still a useful skill to have once you can get transversal velocity down. Think of it like strafing on steroids. It turns EVE into an extremely low paying second job. It really isn't fun. Start thinking about it once you're well established and doing lucrative activities like incursions, wormholes, etc, that weren't available to you as a new player. Mining is a soul destroying profession. It doesn't make much ISK either. FW is quite good if you want to get into PvP but you'll get destroyed at the beginning by people with much better ships, more experience, and more SP. Also, you might get blobbed. The first thing you should do is find a good corporation. Another poster said to investigate CFC groups - Goonswarm is an excellent group to get into, but unfortunately unless you're well connected with them or an SA poster then you probably won't get in. Do NOT fall for the 'processing fee' scams or suchlike - they'll rip you off and you won't actually get in. A good corp is important to have. Between the SP grind, buying skill books, proper ships and modules need to make better ISK, I'm thinking it will take 2-3 months to be able to buy your first PLEX. good luck.

(You get 3k LP per OB, and it increases with each Tier) Mail me in-game (Knight Solataire), and I'll get back to you with the fit I use for OBs. It doesn't require a lot of SP, and unless your enemy is ganging up on you, you'll almost always escape. But its not a combat ship, its simply for providing OBs, if you get into a combat situation with another pilot, just warp off. DUST is so broken, even my PS3 refuses to let me play it.
