I call out to all of my brethren to try this experiment with me. I am heart and soul Federal Marine, but we have realized that maybe ranking up won't really matter in the long run. So you get an extra 50LP. What matters is our competition is going extinct. Without an ample supply of squids to flambe we will gain zero LP. Because there will be no servers to support 16 v 0... So if you are a true to the bone Federal Marine, go calimari for the next week or so. Let's go over there and provide the illusion of winning for a week or so. Get all the wannabes out of our glorious federation and then once we have accomplished that we just gank the hell out of the "State Peacekeppers". They won't even know what hit them because "frogs" are the best and all a sudden the calmari are destroying everthing, and then when the first DUST forum post arises saying that the mighty Gallente are weak, we let it slide. Then when the second one pops up we laugh. Then when the third pops up we question the people making these threads. Then when the 4th pops up we celebrate, by all switching back to the glorious federation and taking everything back in one night, because without us the calimari are weak, and with us the calmari are even weaker.

I'm a Caldari patriot but yea what you suggest is competition and who ever is winning gets the most players because everyone wants an easy game. I defended a district that I just defended for the Gallente. Our OB support just sat there and as soon as we spawned there was an orbital waiting for us because somehow the change in matches didn't affect their connection. They were two different matches according to dust lobbys.

But imagine if all us winners switched sides and started taking ground? As a Gallente loyalist, I can see some benefits in this, We get to kill all the fake Gallente that are just along for a free ride to LP points, and we would gain access to your sweet sweet complex DMG mods and spec RR. So when we do flip back to Gallente at the end of the week we are getting a great deal from your mods to kill you with them. It is a win on all fronts for true Federal Marines.

We are mercs we do what we want and your loyalties will be tested. Yes you will want to come with us to Gallente when we switch back. Because we are just that awesome.

This happens because we currently have extremes on both sides: In space the Caldari own the place. While it is definitely true that the player base is much bigger, Calamari would still be winning more games regardless. They wouldn't have a snowballs' chance of keeping a district, but they'd still be fighting scrubby teams from time to time and winning. CCP, Geth Infiltrator is OP! plz nerf.
