I did use the Commando to take down a Sica while armed with a Breach and standard MD. I thought it was hilarious, to be honest. The proto heavy with a Boundless didn't think so. You are wrong. I made this thread in response to my utter dissatisfaction after having used the Proto Breach variant for AV purposes today. My tactics relied on stealth, Flux Grenades, Remote Explosives, and of course my Core Breach. Sneaking up on tanks and attaching some REs was easy. Following up with Flux grenades and mass RE detonation was easier. However, attempting to finish off a tank with barely any HP left was impossible to do with my MD. Even against Somas, it did nothing.

But I would be a liar if I said it could outperform the nilla or assault. I also want to see MD's return to 100% efficiency versus vehicles. They already do 110% damage to armor so this thread is kind of pointless without a massive buff to damage output which would just make all the whiny players complain about it being OP. No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2. When will they learn!

I agree with the OP, we should always strive to give every weapon a viable niche to excel in if possible, more variety is better than less. Standard MD: infantry area denial.
