CCP once again changed the numbers of the HMG. The first hotfix Took the HMG where it had to be. They change the numbers as follows:
- Accuracy rating: from 62 to 38.89
- RPM from 2000 to 2400
Yesterday they did another stealth change to the HMG. I might add that it had a negative effect on it.
- Accuracy rating: from 38.89 to 38.99
This change might not seem like much but it in fact was a stealth nerf. It affected the performance negatively and I found out by simply using it that it was no longer as effective as the first day. When it comes down to the HMG, more accuracy does not mean better performance. On the contrary, if the state of the HMG before hotfix 1 was any testament to how the weapon funcions, it shows that more accuracy is detrimental to it's purpose. People have noticed too.

Heavies. Don't let this stay the way it is. Support this thread. Bump it, don't like it though. Like don't help it get viewed. People have already noticed and don't run away after they see us anymore.
PS it also messed up the video I was making and now have to start over to include the stealth nerf.

I didn't notice anything on my alt. It felt actually a little more accurate around the outer portion of the ring actually.

I'm doing some testing and that change does not affect people using aim assist. People who are not using aim assist however, will feel it, just like I did since I don't use aim assist.

The hmg does not benefit from aim assist. Its not a weapon that aim assist engages for. Same with the forge. |

Seems you don't know what you are talking about. Aim assist does engage for the HMG and it's crazy how aim assist helps.
