Some kind of practice mode is needed, where vehicles and weapons can be tested! I hate that Dust 514 is all about "being invested in your role, and not having optional respecs" yet you cant effectively try something without having to spec into it with no sure way to refund if you don't like it. |

If there's a city map with extensive detailed interiors then there doesn't need to be some kind of arbitrary "no tanks" rule. By virtue of having most of the fight inside the role of tanks will be limited and players wont use them. Or the players who do use them will roll around outside doing whatever they do away from control points and most of the action.
I'd like to see more layers to maps. Other then elevation everything is essentially flat. There are few instances of any structure having multiple levels. Most buildings are solid blocks. Where are my sci-fi corridors that are low and narrow? The claustrophobic suspense seen in Aliens?
Sure we're on planets but do we need all this sky? These are huge complexes...that we walk around...How do these places function without doors? There's no sense of what these places are for or even what they do. It's not alive. I've never even seen a room. Everything is hallways. |

We just need something to break up the monotony. I know it is "in the plans." The fear is that you are going to lose all of your casual players, and this game will fail without some sort of casual base to it. Any type of previous game modes used in any game would be great. The first "Game Mode Release Pack" doesn't even have to be creative. We just need something different with an Eve lore spin. I know more game modes may thin out the servers, but it may bring more people back, too. I can count at least 20 people that I know that would come back from new game modes. I am sure others will say the same. |
