As the title says how is the game now, i haven't played since 1.0 and i dont want to spend hours downloading this game just to be disappointed |

Tank 514 yes. But remote explosives are sticky, so get a basic scout, speed and shield tank it, and put basic remote explosives on it. It only rapes armor tanks when their hardeners are down.

While I'm enjoying the crap out of myself, consensus says you'll still be disappointed. I'm willing to take what's wrong and use stupid optimism that it will get better...in 2 years. If you don't take things to seriously tho, it can still be fun.

Well bless your passive sp, and the game is much better than 1.0 imho. You've got new guns, different FW, Aim assist, Delete all mail, new maps, squad finder, isk donation, new bugs, sticky RE's, tank galore, snow, plasma cannon fun, and so forth. Worth a try i would say.

Wow, that's a while ago...
Well the game is much, much more "hard-core" as it were. As in the game play is very competitive and "cut-throat" at times. Not being solo (especially if you are new) is best. Teamplay is encouraged in one way or another. I dunno what your play-style is like, but I would recommend trying out the basic level of an assault suit with the equivalent style rifle (AR, ScrR, CR, or RR), until you get the feel of the flow of things. Honestly, suit/weapon choice can make or break your experience depending on your playstyle etc.

It's completely different than it was in 1.0. I think that alone should merit you try it and decide for yourself.
