Hm? This is a video game its not real. Play the game and use what you want. its not about respect its about using what you want to use. Because I personally respect good players.
Some people rage when they get killed by someone who legitimately bested them, I label them a good player.

Scrambler probably, he has to charge up his shot, be able to take the overheat and have fairly good aim. But the latter goes for the RR also. Furthermore respect for skill is not what is popping into my head when being shot down. A well placed shot with a PLC or a good Nova Knife kill i embrace with open arms though.

This is true. Games are meant for relaxation. Get home from work, turn on ps3, take my AR with aim assist and start spraying and praying while throwing nades. Good times.:-) The only validation you need is love from your family, and pay from your job.

I respect police officers and fire fighters etc. on a different level than I respect someone in a video game... but you can still respect both.
I respect Kujo for being able to organize a large group of guys to be able to field full teams during 11 battles in a 2 hour window.(This has to be like herding cats) LOL
I respect a bunch of players on here for their gun game.
I respect all armed military for their contributions toward this country.
Just my two cents.

I believe that taking a video game seriously such as dust, is a good thing.
We play video games for relaxation, yes. But to many others...it's more than that. To people like myself, video games are a hobby, a pastime we enjoy.
As such we want to emerse ourselves in that world. To try hard, to take it seriously.
Why u might ask? Because its simply fun. And isn't that what it's all about? Having fun right?

Idk right now its pretty much who sees who first, but if i had to choose between the 2 in 1v1, itd depend on the range they got me in, if its up close i know the ScR got lucky moreso, whereas the RR is spraying errything, so Id respect the ScR I spose, if its AR range(close medium) thats hard to do w/ a RR(non assault) but ScRs ez god mode turf, so id respect the RR, but medium to far its RR turf but ScR still performs great, so id just say ScR then, even though its not hard, just by process of elimination.
But overall the ScR is better than the RR, except when up close and personal and you consider the assault variant RR.
And up close and personal is common. But still the prof5 3 dmg mods viziam ScR generally outperforms the prof5 3 dmg mods RR, kaalakioata or ishukone.
I have the prof5 3 dmg mods RR though and its still f***ing insane, but you've got a better chance at killing it than you do a ScR, simply because of the instant r@pe the ScR gives ya the moment you slow down to ADS or pop out of cover. |

I don't see any cursing going on though? Maybe in game when you get killed but that's just natural. Ask anyone and you'll find most people regardless of how serious they take the game, get a hint of upset ness when they die. Especially in this game when you lose in game currency per death.
As for being good meaning something. I believe it does mean something. If being good at a video game didn't mean anything, we wouldn't have MLG and tournaments that gave real money for winning them.
Regardless it's all about public opinion and perception. The general public find that being a "hardcore" gamer is bad for you. I don't blame them for thinking that though.

I just want to expand on what DJINN said, and add something there saint. golf and Chess are games and hobbies as well. Would you think any less of those players by how passionate they are about it? It's too passive to just say, "All I need is my job and family" That's not for everyone. Being passionate about something is the flavor of life. Hobbes are side dishes. Your kin and work being the main course.
I'm passionate about my hobbies. whether its video games, hunting, or football.
