Well there are plenty of threads talking about the heavy laser being an AV weapon, and its a laser so of course it would be anti-shield since its EM damage.

The heavy laser should be the highest DPS gun in the game but will probably overheat like f***, so even if its AV it wont be that good probably.
But FGs do good damage to shield tanks even through a hardener, which is great, they also get r@ped by rails too, which is good. So really even though they have alot of perks really arent that great, they're more vulnerable, even running dual shield hardeners still means a short invulnerable time, so you can usually outlast them w/ an armor tank or just hit them w/ so much alpha damage they have no shields to harden. Thats common. |

Yeah, well the rail tank is good, but what if you're too lazy to call in a tank?
