Amazing fixes to them. I put two standard 20gj rails on my 80gj rail tank and it's amazing. They're amazing. Two if them means 2 rounds a second for 780 DPS! They're accurate and long range. It's a barrage of death! Don't range a thing. They're perfect. I have created an amazing weapons platform for long range support. I'm considering getting adv or even proto small rails because they're so amazing!

You don't even understand.
On the Incubus they are sex.
It just sucks that we have to forgo our bonus to fight infantry by fitting missiles since small blasters on the front of a dropship are lol at best vs anything.

I'd like to see the efficiency rating for all turrets vs armor and shields though, in game it shows like 77% to shield and 60% to armor (rough estimate, can't remember off hand) where the missiles say like 70% vs shields and 125% to armor. The real "nerf" is the overheat, something missile boats will never ever have to learn to deal with.
Yea I always thought that CCP really didn't think anything through when they made the assault DS. I used to try using blasters back when the Ass-DS first came out but it really was and probably still is just LOL.

They are scary on an incubus, especially if the person has maxed out the rof skill.

It's not even the blasters themselves, the blasters actually aren't bad at all vs infantry (against vehicles they're a joke)
The problem is no free moving first person camera for the turret. This is the same issue with railguns vs infantry. You have these extreme precision weapons on a platform that not only doesn't offer much stability, you have to aim this tiny little dot that blends into your ship by predicting exactly where the enemy is, because you can't actually see them.
Give us proper first person camera, and that would probably be more than enough for skilled pilots to make them work reliably.
Headshots with my Incubus railgun are the best feeling ever, but it's more like playing the lottery than going to work.

Infantry cries for tank changes, and they don't like them. Tell them to use vehicles, they complain, and use cars anyway
