I just watched a Scout run from 100 Meters into Shotgun range straight down the beam of my Laser Rifle. He didn't even try to dodge it. The only damage dealt was from overheat, and he was able to finish me off with a single Shotgun blast unscathed.
Hit Detection is not working.
I'm not normally one to complain, but this has been happening consistently since 1.7.

you tried to shoot a scout running STRAIGHT AT YOU with a laser rifle? at the very least when he got close you could've taken out a sidearm.
laser rifle is definitely UP, but what you did is just downright stupid.

There is no way that is possible.
Even the most speed tanked Scout can only cover 100m in a little under 10 seconds.
But to do that, you sacrifice A LOT of HP.
I know the LR is UP, but that is just not possible.
DUST is so broken, even my PS3 refuses to let me play it.

I would have; I usually do. But my LR seized up from overheating. I wasn't paying attention because I was in a state of utter disbelief that he was taking absolutely ZERO DAMAGE from a laser beam to the chest.
Not reduced damage.
NONE AT ALL.

Actually its been since the hotfix yesterday, before then Hitdetection was fine.

i concur any scout that thinks lr is underpowered enough to stand in the open when im using on fro more than 2 secs is off their rocker...said scout wouldve died before he moved 20m..
