Armor tanks are LAV's with large turrets and really good for killing infantry. (dmg mods)
Shield tanks are actually tanks and tank damage like a mofo and make mincemeat out of Armor tanks....

That's a joke. Shields are flimsy as **** in my experience, couple of rail rounds and you die very quickly.

Only proto rail does dmg , other than that, a shield tank can boost shields through proto blaster fire...

First of all, cheating.
Second, shield rails are superior because less damage done to shields, hardeners, start up speed for ducking back, and armor smells.

I can almost go hardened all the time except for like 10 seconds still doesn't beat the fact that 1 minute + is enough time for me to get away...
Anyway, only dumbass tankers are out of the redline without any hardeners available.

Itl take 2 stacked dammage mods to break my tank killing fit's shields. Ive chased severall maddys back to tgeir redline with thier tails between their legs.

tested. 3 damage moded rail against 3 shield hardeners does 500 damage. it's insane. O_o

I know a sica took me out we sat there a just shot at each other I moved a little but it was a tight area and he won I put 12 proto missiles into him but he was able to kill me with his militia rail gun first because of my insanely long reload (8-10 seconds with reload V)and was only able to put four more missiles before I blew up. Rails are ridiculously OP.

Double hardened shield with and extender is a monster, insane resists while those hardeners are up. As long as they keep their distance and have a decent escape route, those shield tanks are a ***** to take out. I usually use that fit for rail sniping if I know I've got a decent buffer of space between me and the target, because even if they shoot back I have enough EHP to survive.
Shields do tend to get wrecked up close though, even with a booster. For straight up brawling I prefer my Madrugar, shields just cant compete in a blaster to blaster fight.

I have yet see a maddie live against my missile logi. With one damage mod active, they drop before I reach the end of the clip. Hardeners hardly make a difference.
3 seconds and yr dead.
Missiles against shields though, thats a different story.
