I should have recorded that match, I just did it about a half hour ago to a gunloggi on Line Harvest. Little bastard thought he was safe on the hill under the MCC on C/D side.

The time it takes to get up to them in the redline and close enough, you would die to the redline anyways. Sitting still near a railgun is bad juju, and will likely get you killed. Best to just ram into them to guarantee the kill.

IMMORTAL REGIME 943	Posted - 2013.12.18 16:53:00 - [1] - Quote it's common knowledge that REs now stick to tanks and LAVs. this is where jihad jeeps came from. for those who don't know: Jihad Jeep - an LAV with REs strapped to it. this has recently become one of the most effective ways to combat tanks, as you can strap 6+ REs to the LAV and if you make contact, then it's a guaranteed kill, though you sacrifice yourself in the process. but i thought of a new tactic that i'm surprised nobody has used yet. Kamikaze Dropships. if my theory is correct, then REs should be able to stick to dropships, though i haven't tested yet. assuming it does work, then you can have a much more deadly way of taking out tanks, and if you're high enough, the tank won't even be able to hit you. this is where you would proceed to yell some racial slur in japanese and proceed to kamikaze the dropship into the tank. both go boom, and you only lost 30,000 isk for taking out a 300k+ madrugar, laughing your ass off in the process. i have exams this week, so i won't be on much until friday, but when i can, i will be testing this. i assume a few variables may apply: 1.) Skill of the Pilot. not everyone knows how to fly dropships, so you would need at least some experience with dropships to effectively do this. 2.) Cost of the Tank. this obviously wouldn't be very isk efficient if the tank was only MLT, but imagine a 400k madrugar. as a matter of fact, if this works properly, i will pay 10 million isk to the first person i see use this tactic successfully. next lab: MyoFybril Stimulants.
