Are you guys kidding? Why does taking a district have anything to do with how good your corp is? We were recognized because we created our corp with Minmatar Factional Warfare in mind 10 months ago before anyone thought about having factional warfare dedicated corps. We were the first DUST corp to join the biggest Minmatar alliance EVE-side, the Winmatar.

If you've ever faced us in combat, you know we are not pushovers. Just because we don't attempt to take a district doesn't mean we are bad players. Simply put, PC is not fun and the New Age Outlaws are about having fun. There are way too many issues with PC and its way more work than what its worth.

And you guys are talking about kids that get a trophy for last place or the Special Olympics when your spelling and grammar are like a sixth grader. Give me a break man. You guys can have your PC and we will do our thing. Maybe the reason people like you guys are not getting recognized is because you're all jerks who think you're somehow owed something. I've killed enough Fatal Absolutions, Ancient Exiles, and Nyain Sans to understand that we don't need districts to know we belong.

True Adamance, I understand where you're coming from. I know PIE has been around and been active and they were a big reason Amarr held so much territory for so long. We didn't ask for this award though and maybe Shad just didn't get a chance to visit all the corps you mentioned. Its not like we'll be the last ones he ever inducts. Like I said on the other post, I think he just got a feel from us that everyone who joins us does. We're a family, we have a great time, and thats what being in a DUST corp should be all about.

To all others here who have defended us, thank you. Like knight of 6 said, ragging on us for not having districts when we're clearly not a PC-oriented corp is stupid. PC should not be the only mark of a good corp in this game, and like Leadfoot said, everything shouldn't be about the corps like OH, AE, and Nyain San who have dominated because they have SP requirements and hire players for ridiculous amounts of ISK just to make sure they don't lose.

Seeing both sides of the argument, if pc wasn't a broken lag fest maybe there would better competition. Faction warfare seems to run smoothly and that's where we spend a lot of our time and have had some really good battles. I've have friends in AE and they are a solid group of players and have learned a lot from them. They have an agenda and if that includes hiring top quality players to defend or attack, so be it. There is no replacement for people who play together a lot and learn, that's what they do.

Faction warfare has some great battles and can be very competitive, a lot less lag and a lot less stressfull as districts and huge amounts of isk aren't on the line. Mid talent level corps can do very in FW and have a good time, but the difference between FW and PC can be measured in light years.
