Yep ... I said it and I'm not going to regret it either and actually I might have more fun too .
I'm going to do what I have seen some do and that's , play Dust 514 only for the skill points to be maxed out and then not until the next cycle is in effect . So that's two , maybe two and a half / three days a week and then playing other games . Guess I will start to play Kill zone , Battlefield ( the current one ) and even COD .
Yep ... this game is JUST NOT FUN FOR ME ANYMORE . I use to play everyday , at least for a couple of hours ( after I came home , picked up the kids from school and my wife left for work ) everyday and now I can barely get threw thirty minuets . I use to enjoy Dust and even planning what to do while at work . I use to ENJOY the competition and learning new thing everyday while playing and having FUN but now it's just ... bla , bla , bla .... same ole $h!t .
Between this last patch , bugs , weapons being the same ( with high damage output , I mean if you read the stats , they are ALL THE SAME ) the boring colors and how half the time because of the rendering I can see anything and what I did see just blended into the boring shades of black and gray . I mean even the new volcano battlefield seems so grayish while all of the lava fallout falls from the sky . Dying in the matter of seconds while it takes a $h!t load of hours to acquire ( no I'm not complaining about having to work for skill points and in fact it's one of the thing that I loved about this game and to me made it stand out above the rest ... notice I said loved : pass tense ) skill points ( to max out branches ) because of the HIGH DAMAGE OUTPUT OF ALL THE WEAPONS and the TTK issue along with the 10% that's spoken of so often . How the powers that be keep this game infused with new items but ignore the issues at hand and right now this game for me , has become a waste of time somewhat but really has become unplayable beyond obtaining the skill points that are given each week .
There are SOOOO many issues but what can I type that hasn't been already written and the fact that it just takes months before these problems are even spoken about , if at all and more months after that before they are even addressed but while that goes on more items flood the marketplace that in their own right , bring more problems to the table along with the current issues .
I just feel like I'm going for a ride to a place that even the people who are driving don't even know but when I ask ( and I don't even want to seem like a jerk for asking but after riding for so long I just have to ask ) , " How much further ...??... because it just seems like we have been driving for quite sometime now ." , that they TOTALLY ignore me and give me NO response so we keep driving until I say , " That's it !!!!! ... just pull over , hell I don't even care where I am , I just want to get out !!!! " and as they pull off before they speed away to GOD knows where I can hear them say , * laughter ensues between the two in the front seats * Passenger besides the driver speaks : " Man , I didn't know how long it was going to take before that guy asked to get out . Driver says : " Yeah , that guy was an idiot for riding that long and NOT knowing where WE were going .. what a dumb @$$ . " Passenger besides the driver speaks : Yeah , * laughter ensues again * ... so where ARE we going ??? " Driver speaks : " Just shut up and enjoy the ride !!! "
You people can be satisfied with how thing are going because this game has " Potential and promise " but for me ... I can only stay for so long , seeing as how tomorrow is not " promised " to me and as WE wait life and the gamming industry moves on .
Might be great for some but for me ... I feel like I'm ready to ask to get out .
For those who just care to make ignorant comments because they are miserable and all they would like to do is make everyone else feel the same ... I won't be commenting to this post so enjoy yourselves . Don't need another reason with the attachment of the title Dust 514 , to being anymore frustration and unhappiness to my life so have your fill and I hope you get enough to eat .
I can assure you it won't be me indulging your type anymore .

but seriously that's a shame. this is a really good game. you just can't overdo it.
I personally play about 7 hours a day, but that's just me. find a good squad, or a good corp. I guarantee you will have so much more fun. I hardly ever use my mic, but I'm still one of the best team players you'll ever see. the most fun I have is when I'm playing with my awesome corpmates/alliance.
Tell me, how exactly DOES a biscuit gain Valor?

Dam bro, this ain't your job, play some other games!
I'm sure COD will get you raging HARD though. I couldn't stand 10 minutes of that game, everyone is just camping a window.
I played a few games and every single kill-cam was this:
somebody stood still,
i come round the corner,
i die.
it doesn't promote movement, it's either stay still and get some kills or move around and die.
Batttlefield is good but I get kicked from servers on BF3 all the time! And it's quite laggy too.
There's also some weird reload glitch where it doesn't reload all your mag or it ghosts the
reload animation. |
