Effect: You can now redline railgun on most any map and have the ability to 3-shot any assault dropship with a tank that costs less than 80k I can still afterburn straight out over you and empty my railgun into your roof.

The balance of the engagement is still completely unfair. I still have to engage inside of a zone that kills me if i stay in it for a short time. The tank does not have that problem. Yet he can engage me in my zone of advantage, the sky no problem at all, almost anywhere I happen to be.
Its not the tank. Its the Redline and the range. Because of the redline and full map range a rail tanker can build a weak tank as he does not have to face the enemy. So he can stack damage mods as he armour is redline hiding.
This is my biggest gripe with 1.7 so far. Tanks with super power and super range and then add the speed they have now, not the bug but the base speed, they are almost invincible. There is just no way something that deadly should be unreachable. ITs the same with redline snipers. In many ways this update seems to have left us coming back to the infamous redline yet again, just as many of our discussions did back in the Closed Beta.
The issue again becomes how to deal with it with the redline effectively being an essential map component to prevent the farming issues that were a major component of the E3 build. Anyone at the bottom end of Line Harvest would just get farmed by HAVs, snipers, and whatever else anyone pulled out because the redzone was too small to offer them protection.
Personally, this seems like another example of why having a game full of "bowl" maps isn't exactly the best idea. No matter what map you're on, the redline almost always provides an elevated position that makes sniping or railgunning from behind it ideal.
