Its just their nature working against them. All over race's have suits that have eyes on the front whereas Caldari suits eyes appear to be more pointed to the side giving them better peripheral vision but means they do tend to walk into walls.

Amarr and Caldari are missing to many peices to DUST.
With the Scout's and heavies(who like the HMG more)....... and both of them have niche weapons markets... Laser and long range rails...
