Caldari Scum Lol When will you monkeys realize that the predictably one-sided FW battles are a result of broken game mechanics, not the ideologies of fictional governments? It's simply broken, and it's not a problem some snarky one-liner like "Get good" can fix. It's a complete blowout on both sides. There is no competition. It isn't fun. Quit pretending your imaginary politics have anything to do with it. No that's a huge part of why the player pools are so disproportionate. Social climate of our current cultures plays heavily on how players choose their factions. I hear people say "I would support the Amarr, but they enslave people..." or "I agree more with the Gallente way of things." Yeah I too support the Amarr but that doesn't mean I want to enslave everyone, I see the Amarr for what they are. Unity.
I'd support the Amarr, but D-links are pretty cheap. My Caldari blood says to fight for the best benefits, so that's what I do.
Supporting a faction for ideas seems really stupid to me. If you gave any one of them enough power to do so, terrible acts would be committed; in the name of god, vengeance, greed, or "freedom."
My logi-code.

Yeah I too support the Amarr but that doesn't mean I want to enslave everyone, I see the Amarr for what they are. Unity. That may be true for those of us who follow the lore or visit the forums, but for most players it's a simple Risk vs. Reward assessment. They can fight for the winning side, risk very little, and reap the greatest rewards. Or they can fight for the losing side, risk a lot, and get a pittance for compensation. The fluff here on the forums isn't the most accurate representation of the playerbase. I've convinced a lot of friends to play who don't care about EVE, and couldn't care less about the forums, that choose Gallente/Minmatar because it's the easy path to better gear.
Nicely put, the New Eden way.
I would rather look bad and win, than look good and lose.

Not strictly true, even if you knew nothing about the game, the races the poor quality and brief descriptions do more than enough to push players towards certain factions, Gal and Min and push away from the other two.
To a Texan like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Gunlogi.

Well, who wants to be ruled by a super corporation >.> Better than being run by an ultra corrupt and hypocritical democracy. The Caldari live hard, rigid lives, but they are better for it, their communities are stronger, order is greater, productive lives are lived each with meaning and purpose in the greater community.
