If you live on the West Coast of the USA, are a customer of Comcast, and experience outage issues or excessive lag to CCPs tranquility (87.237.38.200) there are significant routing issues going on.
Eve pilots have been far more vocal about this on eve forums:
here and here.
I happen to be a business custy of comcast and am currently leveraging that aspect. I had a ticket open with CCP (and dealt with CCP ArchDuke) , but don't see it as their problem. However, I opened and closed a ticket with CCP giving them all of the info. I also have an open ticket with Comcast. At first they were dildos, but I bent them to my knee. for now. I do have a modicum of power with them vs the ordinary customer, and am intent to leverage it. this is literally my kind of fun.
So, of you are seeing any of these issues, and live in the bay area to washington state, are a customer of comcast, and suffer disconnects, severe lag, as well as outages let me know here. CCP- I absolutely welcome you guys to talk to CCP ArchDuke and work with me on resolvign this issue- as I do suspect it's a localized DOS attack on your guys.
I would like to compare traceroutes. Edit out your area IP wise, of course. Feel free to hit me up for my email on eve mail or Scouts United chat if you don't know how to do that.
Either it's a butt hurt script kiddie in the bay area that found their way into a comcast router, or comcast is really that horribly bad all on their own. Either way, I just want to make sure this gets fixed.

Not going to paste a trace route but I live in Washington state, more specifically King County and a customer of Comcast and my trace is fine.

Comcast and and TWC are notoriously bad isps in socal,the 30mbitdown/??up basic speed for comcast is as advertised but dat packet loss.. mann.. you can't miss it.

On reddit there is a washington user having the same issue as some of us west coaters- glad to hear you aren't routing through that San Jo router. it's pretty lame.

This is odd because at a specific time it begins dropping traffic destined for CCP. But packet loss is something I don't get afflicted with too often. At least there's that!
