As the topic says I was hoping to get some solid answers as to why I keep getting kicked from Faction Warfare. It's happened to me 4 times now. Only once am I at all sure what caused me to be kicked. So, anyone that can suggest even a possible reason I'd love to hear it.
The one time I know what caused me to get kicked was when a squadmate jumped at my dropship as I was going to pick him up. The second he touched the bottom he died and I was kicked. That, while annoying, I know why it happened (although, the only reason why I know it happened was the person I killed told me about it, I was on a load screen before it showed me I'd killed him).
The next one was the first time I was kicked, in my very first FW since the update. I was in the middle of defending someone while they were hacking, firing a basic Combat Rifle at an enemy up above me when I went to load screen. None of my squadmates saw why. I had used a group of proximity explosives earlier, so the current theory is that someone on my team must have shot them just to get me kicked.
Here's the first one that has me stumped. I was carefully not using anything that deals large amounts of damage, I had not placed any explosives, I was trying to defend an objective when I was killed. I saw a nanite injector nearby so I was waiting to be revived. As I was waiting, maybe 10 seconds or so after I died, I was kicked. While DEAD. I can't imagine a single thing to explain that.
The second one that I can't come up with an explanation for was a little while ago. Because I'm getting REALLY annoyed at constantly losing ALL my standings to these things I was carefully flying an UNARMED dropship, with a CRU. I was being extra careful to not even come close to doing anything that could hurt a teammate. I landed on the top of an objective so the team could spawn in and attack it more easily. While PARKED I got kicked for teamkilling. In a stationary, unarmed, fully healed Grimsnes.
I like faction warfare, a lot, but this makes me want to start yelling. If I had a clue what it was that was getting me kicked I could learn to avoid doing it. But right now all I know is that what feels like every third round I keep having my standings wiped for completely unknown reasons. If anyone at CCP is reading this please, at the very least, give more information than (kicked for team damage) in the message. |
