i want to request that thier hulls get a price reduction to 150k isk or 130k isk, i want them to be profitable or less expensive, all it takes is 2 railgun shots to down a Python.

I agree that they are a little too expensive, but I'd probably say about 200k-250k ISK would be reasonable. Losing an ADS should hurt and while Rails are a pain in the arse, we do have methods of avoiding them. |

That makes no sense. Even a militia Tank can be deadly, but it takes an ADS to kill infantry? How can you price tanks at 10000 with weapons, but an ADS costs at least 5x more and gets killed far quickly? Just curious. My apologies for the mistakes, my phone is being derpy

I agree that tanks need a bit of a price hike. Maybe something like 5 - 10x for the hulls. |

Looks like someone beat me to this topic.
The Madrugar and Gunnlogi tanks are 97,500 ISK but ADS are 322,995 ISK. This seems hugely disproportionate when you consider which is more likely to be seen dominating the battlefield. The cost seems especially unbalanced if you consider how much SP a pilot will sink in to dropships just to keep them in the air compared to creating a useful tank fit (yes I've done both before you start trolling).
I won't suggest that they should be as low in price as the standard dropships (45,000 ISK) but a 7 fold increase from standard DS cost to ADS is excessive. Don't forget that you will fit an extra turret to the ADS that will increase the cost of these fittings greatly compared to standard DS. A proto small turret will set you back 105,735 ISK. That's almost the same (slightly more actually) than as advanced large turret and, obviously, no where near as powerful.
I could go on listing examples of disparity between the cost of similar module and turret types but I'm sure others will do that for me. I just think the increase in cost of all goods in the market from advanced tier to proto is massively disproportionate; dropsuits, weapons, modules, equipment, vehicles (especially ADS), vehicle modules and turrets.
Can someone from CCP explain the logic behind the prices? Are there any plans to review the market prices for ALL items or review the ISK rewards for matches? |
