Remove aim assist from anyone using adv or proto gear
Aa is supposed to help newbs not people who've been playing

Only thing that needs to be done with AA is to stop it locking onto scouts

No a good Scout will make sure you never see them, so that isnt the problem. I guess it wouldn't hurt, but honestly in a game like this where many bullets are sometimes needed, I've seen the game without AA, and man is it boring because you basically atrafe, run out of ammo, and then melle, which is already inaccurate lol

I guess if they wanted to go that route rename aa tracking unit and make it react to your scan signal or whatever
not really in favor of that

I would agree with you if we had better new player experience
but right now newbs are prone to rage quits because of the stomping they kinda need assistance

What headstrong said. With that in mind we need better recruitment channels for the the new players.
I do agree, we should get rid of AA. Yesterday I repaired a LCD tv and switched to it from my old CRT and AA and my Rail Rifles just will not work together anymore anyway. Lol. I have to figure out if I can pump up the processing speed or something.

Thx for agreeing. Honestly everyone, we need to create a Newbie channel, get the word out there for all of CCP so after a battle academy, perhaps the newbs are shown a list of channels that will help them survive, with Respectable, non Protoatomping Corpa . I'll make a separate post for this if you all want, bit this needs to happen. Before I was in a Corp, my KDR was . 76 and I rarely played. I hit my first Corp and I jjump by .30. Now Im 1.59. in just under 4 months. Newbie Training Channel.
Please don't Hack this game. I will join the NSA and hunt you the hell down. Don't believe me, wait 18 years!

No you cant. And Adv weapons are still Outclassed without Proficiency, Dmoda, or a working function of the game. This is why they need to be trained by us vets

Yeah but that's not advisable, dropsuit upgrades goes a lot futher and moat newbs can't afford to run adv due to dying 19-20 times a mwtch

Biggest thing that most n00bs need to learn is how to run as a squad member. Comms discipline, flanking, buddy up, etc. Sooner they learn that the better.
Doesn't DUST UNI do all this though? |

Dust Uni does do a good job at training new players. Just looking for recruitment channels that new players can find and access easily. I remember when I started playing Eve, the layout and what options I had was unclear to me. I know as a sandbox the impetus is on the corps to reach out.
Back to the AA topic. I feel it should be removed completely. For new players as well. You don't want to give them training wheels for the academy when play is more balanced and then take away the training wheels to race against Harley Davidson Hells Angels protostomping squads.
So remove it completely. Afaik it was brought in to address hit detection issues and now that that problem is solved, the AA should go too.
