so many people don't like how harsh FF is in FW, including me, so im wondering if you could make it to where if you actually kill or kill assist with enemy someone then they get banned, for example:
for infantry 1. if I shoot some people but don't kill them then I wont get banned, but if I shoot some people and they do die, then I will get kicked.
2. if I hurt someone while in combat but they die to the enemy, then I will get punished for the aid of killing a friendly, but if it happens and the ally dies several minutes later then it wont count as long you only damaged the ally with less than 100hp.
for tanks:
1. if I run someone over while driving fast I should get a warning to be cautious, but if I keep doing it to 2+ people than I get kicked.
2. if im damaging my own vehicle then I shouldn't be kicked, but if I damage friendly vehicle, installations, depots, or cru's then it should give me a warning at a max of 1k damage,
for dropships I haven't been flying much but I have heard people complain about it.
1. if I was transporting a group of people to a point and they take damage while jumping out, then that shouldn't get the pilot kicked because he never intentionally did it, nor did he know, but if they died then the pilot would get kicked.
2. if im flying an assault dropship and am pursuing enemies with a squad and they take damage while attacking the enemy then you only get kicked for killing them.
3. if I am trying to land but there are mercs under me and I kill them then I should get a warning for killing no more than 2 mercs but if it is 3 than I should get kicked for only the 3rd one.
id like it if it were like this, this way if someone did something that didn't cause too much harm than they would just be warned instead of an insta-ban.
or since it is faction based make it to where you are kicked and lose standings only for that faction, instead of banning. in eve you only get negatives standings with that specific faction, so why not just lose standings with the faction in dust, it would most definitely make everyone happy, except people who go negative, but besides that it would be totally fine.
also make it to where your only banned from one faction instead of all factions
this is all I can think of right now, so if anyone can think of more than that would help.

A long time ago I used to play counter strike. One of the mods a server admin could input was a "friendly fire redirect mod". This made it so that rather than your teammates taking damage from FF, the damage is redirected to you. This would not only completely eliminate griefing, but would also in a sense keep friendly fire on. I suppose the only limitation would be "realism", but perhaps that is the price we need to pay.
That being said, I kinda agree with your ideas, but it doesn't follow KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid) as it seems a little complicated to follow or implement. |

no more bans...make teamkillers purple.... free for all targets.
once you kill enough players on your team you stay purple in all FW matches until you work it off.
stop the lol bans in FW.... instead make teamkillers purple!
