I was wondering if im the only one having this problem.. In the middle of my matches I have bin getting a screen that says fatal error. I have heard 2 other people comply on the comma about it. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I got that error I think 3 times so far....each was right at the end of a match

Only happened once for me, but came right at the end of the battle, too, as the results screen was coming up.
Life is killing me.

4 times ever. Once in 1.5 and 3 times in 1.6, none so far in 1.7 but im expecting it.
All happened in merc quarters or at end of match.

Me too , now I know it's a problem with Dust . Did it to me at the end of a match as well and after consecutive freezes .

I hope the Dev's see this. I have never had This problem until 1.7. I really just wanted to make sure it wasn't a ps3 issue. Ive had it happen 4 times so far. In the biggening,middle, and end of matches... Thanks for the reply's guys.

I was worried my ps3 was going to die as well. I wonder if the crashes are stemming from older generations of PS3's v.s. Newer ps3's. I don't know if there is much of a difference though. The fatal errors occour right when it goes from the victory/defeat splash screen to the ranking list.
However, I do believe you acquire the ISK and Skill points you were rewarded for the round, if you got the fatal error at/after te victory/defeat splash screen.
I tried putting my texture detail and effect detail (under System operations > options > video) to MEDIUM and still got the fatal error has occoured. I'm going to try low settings... |

A squad member from my corp had it happen 5 times in a row when we were trying to deploy last night 
EDIT: at the same time, every battle we subsequently had to leave had less than 10 players total, making me think it was happening to loads of players simultaneously = bad server issues.

Try completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. It could easily be something as simple and mundane as a little bit of corrupted data. |

got it a bunch last week before the HMG hotfix......but not at all since then...?....(yet)

I've been tracking stats since 1.7 hit. I've been getting fatal errors either mid match, or just after the match in 11% of my matches.
Really annoying when your trying to record stats.

Before 1.7 only had a few black screens, after 1.7 have had 3 "fatal errors" and one time as soon as I started up and joined a match my ps3 shutting down due to heat (even tho it had been off for about 4 hours) |
