make it so forge gun have a rang of 175m like swarms why do they get to cover 75% to 85% of most maps with there 300+m rang making it so the map is a no fly zone. how is this making vehicles fun what if you don't drive a tank your ****. I was hoping that 1.7 was going to fix some of what is bad about drop ships but I see they don't read these feedback/requests and all the post asking for some drop ship love. all you did ccp was make a weak ship weaker with out banlcing anything about them. |

PSH, spent the afternoon on my heavy, MLT/STD ships ate dirt. ADS with half a brain and half a fit survived for the most. this isn't a case of FG has too much range, a case of learning how to fly.

Fro reals, as a FGer I specced into vehicles just for dropships. I fit my Gorgon with an afterburner, a light armor rep and a scanner.
Forge guns aren't really worth my time. I fly past them, light them up and then retreat
If it's not a proto forge that hits me spot on, I can stand one hit and than blast my afterburners and rep when I hit the flight ceiling.

Forge guns should definitely have falloff so that drop ships don't need constant hardeners to survive. But tanks need sorting out before we implement that. |

Unless swarms get their lock-on range back, or until turret installations can aim over 45 degrees up, then no. If anything, FGs need a range INCREASE. |
