Bring a weapon which is strong against shields. Blasters are shorter-range rapid-fire weapons better suited to anti-infantry than anti-tank combat. Railguns are the best long-range anti-vehicle weapon to use against a target with heavy shields. Make sure you aren't caught off-guard. Keep an eye out when you suspect the enemy might be bringing a weapon that's a valid threat against you. If you see them coming, you can pop your actives before they start hitting you, and that means you can tank a lot more hits. If you're hitting them first, or soon after they open fire, your active modules will outlast theirs. You should also have more raw HP, which helps to balance out their stronger resists. If you manage to get lucky and hit them before they pop their own active modules, you've probably already won. Finally, good luck. Shield tanks have our weaknesses, but a Missile Gunnlogi is one of the best counters to most armour tanks.

It was basically me Vs. Covert + 2 militia shield tanks I got double teamed every time and because of my weakness against shields and slow reload (like 8-10 seconds with reload V) the two militia tanks could take me in an opportune scenario. When the other guy called in his tank I took out a flanking militia tank while he dealt with Covert, and after Covert popped him because his shields were down I got him in one burst. So you need even if it is cheep a meat shield shield tank running with you. Tanker/Logi Tanks almost fixed.

Find a new friend with a Railgun-equipped Assault Dropship. Your current friend hunts infantry with his Blaster, you clear any armour tanks that try to hurt him, and the Dropship takes out any shield tanks (it's surprising how effective they are).
