commendation:
1.7 was a great update. It gave pretty much exactly what was promised, your loyalty points to the players are increasing. I personally am enjoying 1.7, it actually brought me back into the game from a long break I took. Its a major improvement and this actually (in my opinion) puts dust514 over COD ghost. comparatively. Even the storyline in dust514 so far is better. If every update after this makes improvements along this line, dust514 may very well prove to be the triple AAA FPS/RPG your aiming for.
That is my opinion, but evidence can be seen from the return of many players on "break", players I havent seen for months are playing again. The game play feels smoothand vehicles are doing what they are supposed to do. When i see a tank i **** so many bricks i could build a house...lol. All-in-all many players i interviewed from those I know personally, to those from dust and the portuguese community enjoy this update.
recommendation:
Vehicles are operating as intended. However, I recommend that you review some AV vs Vehicle game play to determine if this is exactly where you went them to be. Again vehicles are perfect now. but, AV is very weak. Just a little bit more "umph" can help them to scare off vehicles that run a muck.
Maps. Some future considerations for maps, are, maps with areas like the galente facility where there are areas where vehicles can't reach infantry, or would get stuck make a hasty escape from AV difficult. Why? In open maps, tanks (just like in RL) shred right through people. this = good. thats what tanks do. However, if every map has too much open space, then infantry can never advance. literally everyone would need to spec into tanks. this is not conducive to balance. changing socket design will help alivate this without need for adjustments (nerfs).
Also, why do orbital strikes do zero damage to tanks now? An O.B. should kill a tank in 2 shots honestly.
