CCP, please fix missile instillations. I am tired of being shot at when I am 600 meters away from them and with the recent changes to how they fire plus keeping infinite ammo it is a serious problem for dropship pilots. They can almost keep up a steady stream of missiles at me no matter where I go.
Example: I was on this map at Bravo. That missile installation in the blue ground spawn started shooting at me as soon as I arrived at Bravo and continued to shoot at me all the way past Charlie.
It's kind of hard to count while being shot at but my guess is that it sends off a volley of 6-8 shots every 2-3 seconds. That combined with it's infinite range and taste for arial vehicles makes them massive headaches, especially when there is 2-3 of them on a given map. I say that with this map in mind, particularly with the bridge in mind. |

Well, they're at least currently the hardest turrets to skill into by 4 levels.
Haven't tried them myself yet though, since I put everything into small rails.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the pre-set installations that anyone can use, regardless of skill. Unless there is some new skill requirement that I am unaware of?

At least missile turrets are getting some use now ... before they were utterly useless. But I agree in part, the missile turrets should not be able to spam fire infinitely, they should fire in volleys and have a reload/cooldown interval. They should also not be dumbfire, but should have a lock-on similar to the Swarm Launcher. (with greater range, since they're bigger)

Missile turret installations are completely obnoxious right now. Large missiles in general are insanely strong, they could probably use a slight tweak backwards in the damage or RoF department, but it's still too early for me to say for sure.
