So, I joined Ambush with my Tank today, as you may or may not know my enjoyment comes from killing tanks, I don't much care for Infantry but apparently Ambush was the place to go for lots of tanks.
They were right. I'm so ******* ashamed of it. I called my Tank in at the start and before it even got to me, 5 madrugar blaster tanks had been called on my team, worst thing was people like Duna who I was coming to kill, they were on my team. The other team tried to get tanks out but went after me, must be because I look different and must be easier to kill, w.e I killed them all.
That was ridiculous.

I'm sitting in an Ambush 3 v 6 am on 6, I'm like "Duna was in the last match, he'll be on the enemy team and I'll make him cry"
And then I check and Duna's now on my team and is already calling a tank.
I cried.

I joined an ambush with a squad of wolves as they wanted a tank to keep the other tanks off of their back the first game we went into I went 8 and 0 just popping enemy tanks and the next game I went 5 and 0 you would be surprised how easily the sturdiest of tanks fall to my tank killing builds .
. Now I normally don't run ambush in my tank but man is it sweet, I don't have to bother about the av as they are all fighting infantry while im popping the enemies tanks , I don't run blasters in ambush as my missiles and rails are much more effective with dealing with enemy tanks so if your on the ground against me in ambush rest assured you are only my secondary targets as I have much more fun popping other tanks.. and if your running a tank in ambush against any of my squads you had better be ready to throw at least 4 of your tanks away cos ill just keep going like the duracill bunny ..anything less than a well fit std hav dosent stand a chance against some of my builds ..

i was against duna today and his OP KDR
he went 9/4
i killed him 4 times. O_o
i lowered his weekly KDR by .6
i am the ultimate AV. even against the pub stompers.
i msged him GG. he never replied. XD
Tank driver. 10 mil SP in tanks 8 mil into infantry.

him and his tanker buddies which i won't even mention, but did worse than him.

Well if you see the video trailer, it shows heavies blasting away with their HMGs with a buttload of tanks being deployed on ground to create a hectic firefight scene.
So...working as intended.

Sure, it would be if both sides could deploy their tanks continuously like this, but once one side gains vehicle superiority, the enemy isn't getting a vehicle in on that mode, the moment the RDV appears, it's game over for that tank.

Buffing or Debuffing Vehicles or AV will never fix anything.

So I'm playing this match and the enemy just unloads tanks.
What happens? Me and this random blueberry switch to swarms. We did it at the same time. I dropped a nanohive and we just sent volley after volley at the tanks.
Of course he would die and I would die, but we didn't give up. We were murdering em. The enemy got so bold as to start calling in tanks right on top of the objective. We answered back, with more volleys. We didn't give up the task.
The tanks were giving em the edge, but us two, worked together to nullify the situation. By the time it was the end of the match, the tanks were hiding by their MCCs. If they pushed out from under their MCC, we unloaded...they retreated. We kept them busy while our team ran around killing off the clones to win the match.
So when I read about tank this and tank that, I often wonder if that in itself is just a FOTM topic for the group think folks of the community. Folks just jumping on bandwagons, cause these guys said it. Or that guy who made community spotlight says its wrong, so everybody agrees its true.
People talk about tanks as if there is no known way to eradicate them from the field or to push them back. How come two guys were able to do this without even speaking to each other comms?
And how come people seem to be hell bent on nerfing the brutality of war that the woman spoke of in the video, Way of the Mercenary?
It's just real tiresome to have to read this month after month about guys complaining about situations that should be consider a part of war. There's no ref in war and no one to help with offering kleenex to the complainers. You either overcome the odds or you find yourself a dead man who died for nothing.
Put the balls back into the sack and go out swinging. There's a way around everything, it just takes finding it.
