Hey guys i was just curious about what other people think about the new dropship mechanics
I personally use a grimness and a python and i absolutely love them, the new animations are sweet and i think the shield regeneration is good, but may need a small Nerf as it does replenish extremely fast (once it activates)
However i think that armor replenishing should go back to being active rather than passive just because then you had to think that little bit more if it was safe to go into the hot-zone.
But yeah anyway i just wanted other peoples opinions on this

Armor reps are +50 armor per second Passive Active mode +150 armor per second for 30 seconds +0 armor per second for 60 seconds.
? Actually that would be a good idea implementing both passive and active armor repairers,
you my friend are a genius |

I understand its just thats my personal opinion

I understand its just thats my personal opinion the fact that you could only regen shields via booster was stupid its not your "opinion" its "i hate shields so nef them pls"
No its just i think the regen rate should be slighlty lowerd thats all no need to get annoyed about it and also you didnt just regen via a booster you regenerated passivly too

The only time I can get close is if I get the drop of him while he is busy shooting infantry (so he is sitting relatively still) but my railgun will overheat before it deals enough damage to kill him and that is without hardeners. By the time I reload he has moved away from me and when I catch back up to him his shields are completely restored. I dunno, I eat shield ships for breakfast if they aren't just flying around with their afterburner on all match. Stay high, watch for them, and hunt them. Stay above and behind so they can't see you, and wait for them to even out. Once they do, ghost down on them and unload. Shoot 4 or 5 shots, let them activate their booster, and watch for resists. If they pop resists, reload and follow them. If they don't go to the red line, they're as good as dead. Fighting other Incubus with a railgun, that's a different story, because for whatever reason railguns suck vs armor, and armor resists are nasty. I've seen a number of Incubus that run two complex hardeners and a rep, and while vulnerable to spike damage like the breach forge gun or railguns, they're basically impervious to Incubus railguns. Thats pretty much my stratagey too and often it works
