This is a genuine question,
how many forge gunners in purely militia gear would it take to kill a purely militia tank?
As most tankers use the argument saying you should be organised, you cant expect to kill a tank solo, which i think is fair but when a maxed out proto forger gunner has trouble taking out a militia tank, i think this is off.
I'm slightly biased as i haven't used tanks since the closed beta and ever since been using proto grenades and proto swarms to solo cheap tanks, but now im spec'ing in to forge guns, but alas i dont think this will help. |

In one shot? Id guess 4-5 could fire together to instantly kill a soma if it didn't have hardeners up. Now if its hardeners were up id guess more around the lines of 16+ |

It takes a whole clip of a dua assault FG to kill madrugar and thats only if he doesn't have nitro

I just watched a video of the tanks in action, haven't had a chance to play this week (studies first) and it seems that the hardeners cool-down was incredibly short... Mind you I am also a part-time tanker... It looks unfair, but I'll have to test the stuff out when I get home this weekend... mmm.
For all I know it could have been a stocked team vs pure randoms... and that is never a good indicator of effective use.
