As i do this, I always try to fill my equipment slots with proto things, I usually see them as assaults... so just post here if your a logi or assault and make a channel for proto logi/assaults :D CC ill make is PROTOS R US
Heavies are still squishy to my AR, just 5 rounds into them extra ;D
hmm, I want taco's...

I do both. I sacrifice 2 low slots for complex cpu and complex pg.

I have 2~3 different style of fittings. One is the standard repper, hive and injector while the other mixes things up a bit with stuff like scanners, REs, and uplinks. Been kind of addicted to carrying around REs on my Mk.0 for dealing with choke points and running up behind single turret tanks and loading them with explosives. I usually at least try to carry hives and a proto injector when I don't fit a repper.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

I have to run my logi, CR chews through too much ammo. On my assault I would be hearing a lot of click click click after awhile.
Dedicated redline sniper, tower forger, nade spammer, protostomper, formerly mass driver, and now scrambler CQC spammer.

I kill harder with my 'Templar' ScR and 'Toxin' on a BPO suit than with a double damage modded Viziam ScR on a 900EHP GaLogi.
The sidearm means I'm never waiting for cooldown.

I use the amarr logi with (all adv) scanners, uplinks, hives/injectors (and sometimes REs) so I still support the team but I can run assault ish at the same time

Depends on the weapon I want to use.
Using my Amarr Assault for SCR (not ASCR) and lasers, but for every other weapon I use my logi. Logi grants me usually a bigger WP reward.
With my logi I stick more to my squad/team, set up mini fortresses and can actively support my team while pushing for objectives while the general laser weaponry works more succesful if I concentrate on my positioning and harass enemys from flanks or I use it to hold a position on open terrain to push enemys back because of the extended range. But I have to admit that with the rr I dont necessarily have to use the assault suit for this anymore, but I still prefer Scr's over other weapons.

I have to run with Drop Uplinks and a Proto Scanner because otherwise I feel naked and now 1.7 has fixed the Repair Tool; IGÇÖm really enjoying giving reps where needed. I used to run the hated Logislayer all the time but IGÇÖm slowly being pulled from the darkside into the lightside.
