Just wondering if you guys have started doing this yet or if your all running solo still?
Yes to see a team of anti vehicle coordinate proper attacks though could just be luck on my side I guess

I'd love to join a squad with some of these guys that claim to be slaying all these tanks with standard gear.
I'll actually pay a dude 10 million ISK to see it.
Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

Groups of proto AV can't take down my Incubus, so I've hung up my forge gun for the time being.

I'm not the best vehicle on the field I fly a Python it's damn good but I have seen better but most damage comes from installations or other vehicles not the Av players that were for so long the bane of my existence

When WP for Damage comes in you'll probably see more of these .. As of right now AVers cant afford it . Why bother when a Sica is more effective, safer and profitable ?
At the moment it's more profitable to go Slayer or Tank . Only challenge seekers and moment to moment desperates are AVing
No job is worth doing if you don't get paid in the end .

It's completely possible to kill with basic gear. How you ask? You find someone who doesn't have a clue and blow him up. Is the only time I manage to take out tanks (I'm using Proto's). It's easy enough to spot the clueless; the don't fly over small bumps in the road, turn instead of boost in reverse, and never pop hardeners.
If they know what they're doing you might as well be throwing spit wads at them for all the effect swarms and forges have. Think forges have the dirtier end of the stick AV wise, once a tank spots mine it's toast. No way to get out of the way, least my swarmer has a chance of running inside a building. |

I could never afford being a pilot but It was enjoyable so I did it 
Though I can see what you mean there would make sense as to why I seem just swarms and the odd Forge with horrible aim

Tested this out. If you don't alpha strike the tank it runs away. Also there are usually so many tanks on the field team quota is reached with all tanks. Proto AV isn't enough and since the Madruga drives faster then the speed of sound I suggest you avoid them.
There needs to be a test server for this. |
