1. tank spam fix: limit 2-3 tanks per team
2. MLT tanks fix: reduce hp? reduce damage and ammo of MLT turrets
3. tank speed fix: reduce accerleration on madrugars, fix turn speed when not moving, decrease NOS power
4. swarm seems useless even though they aren't fix: MAYBE increase swarm damage to 240
oh and decrease reserve ammo of blaster turrets. |

there is no "easy fix" the easier the fix the more broken it is because it fails to address all the causes of the issue.
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1605788#post1605788 this is probably the easiest fix for tank spam and it requires an overhaul of the payout mechanic.

Tanks are fine for the most part, just fix the mil afterburner glitch. The main problem is not tanks having too much HP, the prob is that tanks shouldn't be able to book it so quickly back to safety once their modules go into cooldown.

remove tanks from ambush, limit to 2 tanks per team in skirmish and domination, that's what i'd say.

Make an ambush map set in a corridor, or create an infantry-only ambush mode with decreased isk payouts.
I play infantry. Tankers aren't doing anything to them, that they wouldn't gleefully do to others. |
