I'm just plain bored with game as it is. I am a tanker by nature, but having to spend another 2 updates running Gallente HAV in Amarr FW while all the other tankers can roll off into Gal FW and score cheap and better Federation Madrugars does not appeal to me.
Not just this but I have never wanted to run Gallente HAV....and would not save for the severe lack of any time stamp for the other racial HAV.
I would rather drive Gunlogi.....them looking superior , working in a far better manner, and general not being douchebaggy Gallente crap....but do the Amarr Shield tank?
Not very well.
My question now stands as when are we going to see these Racial HAV or atleast place holders.
Skilling in this game is fumbling in the dark, we think we know what we are getting until CCP change it on us, but its even worse with content that hasn't even been hinted at for last ******* 6 months..... I cant skill into what I want to yet again because of the slow design processes.
And since we just have a vehicle respect I don't see myself getting my SP back anytime soon, for misspent SP in god awful Gallente HAV, or in the misplaced infantry skills into godawful Heavies, Scouts, Commando.......
All I want to know is when the other Racial HAV will be implemented?
I expect Dev or CPM responses like
"Why don't you just play and save up SP?" - Could take months and grinding isn't fun at the best of times, let alone with false hope.
"Why don't you HTFU"- Cant do it simple as that, its fine if the player base were to troll me, I would relish it, understand, but when the Devs cant put a game together as a whole something just irks me... I have never been so angry with a game as I have with Dust.
Either way I just need to know.
1.8, 1.9, 2.0? When for the love of Wolfman I cannot keep holding out with no promise of my intended role.

Yeah DAT GOLD TANK is all I every wanted to pilot in this game and with 12 million SP I should be starting to get competitive, oh nope CCP changed rules mid way through the development of a supposedly RELEASED game...... yeah nah I'm not sticking around for another round of
"Hey we changed something hope you like it, but in doing so we basically reset you to square one and didn't finish the game in any meaningful way....."

Oh yeah I would love to.....until the rules get changed again and I am looking like more of an ass than I do now, holding what I though was a pure Golden Amarr HAV but really is a polished turd CCP thrust into my hands and said "Hey skill into this while you are at it"

Its currently an effing mess of Tankers go into Cal or Gal FW, everyone else decides which equipment they need a just farm the hell out of it.

There was a bug when EVE was released where a certain type of asteroid didn't spawn, because they misspelled it in one of their generation files. PvE was added post release, as was a good portion of the ships that are currently in game. I feel your pain about no Platinum Tanks (so that we may smite our enemies with holy laser turrets) but don't imagine the release of EVE to be some Godsend, because it had quite a few bugs.
I don't but I would have thought CCP would have learnt from that kind of past and applied a more aggressive approach to getting content out and completing a full release of a game.
I'm not saying tanking isn't fun, it really is now, faster, more brutal, more tanks on the map for those fights......but I am really quite tired of seeing Caldari and Gallente Tanks being the only options.
All Assault and Logi suits are out, all assault weapons are out....
Tanks, Heavy, Scouts?

Well maybe they are different teams, but you get the priorities ;-).
What I never understood is why CCP hasn't just applied itself to one aspect of the game per month.
One month all dev teams do dropsuit and weapons development
Next month they do core mechanis
Next Months they revamp Game modes
Next month they revamp Core Game mechanics.....

Haha why do you think I took over a month off of Dust. Came back for my Racial AR and got bored of terrible FW teams. I'll just be running with my Gallente HAV until Amarr stuff comes out or I get bored again.
I would like to squad with you mate, I do miss my buddies from Dead Six.

This game is now a boring ******* grind fest.
Last build I could fit a dependable combat Tank, this build even a ******* Madrugar is off limits to me let alone the SP to skill into making that Maddy efficient and viable to fit.
So basically all I go from this build is
"You don't have enough SP, **** you, cya after another month long grind....."
I cannot believe this is the direction this game is going in. GRIND, GRIND, GRIND.....
Sure it was not really viable to run Soma and Sica back in Uprising 1.6 but now it is even more so not possible....******* hell if I could give 1/4 of my SP for a respect I would do it in a heartbeat just to be able to field something viable in this game....

Tanks are what they were meant to be, but don't even bother with em if you have less than 7-8 million SP to atleast hit STD tank and fit a respectable battle tank, I have slightly less than that value, enough to generalise my skilling into tanks, but not enough to create the kind of tank I could last build.
I mean I could fighting tank to tank last build, I'm lucky to survive 5 seconds with the SP values I had given back to me, and with the potential of using and HAV out the window I have nothing left in this game with no desire to spend another 1-2 month grinding again.

If you are down for running Amarr FW, I'll hook you up with some of my tanks later today. Let you get some fun out of them. I've got some fits that are perfect for keeping those pesky Minmatar in line.
I love fighting for the Amarr and doing what I do, I don't think I could ever oppose the empire in EVE or dust..... its not even the current state of FW that has had an effect on me.....its that once again the two roles I have always wanted to do since so called release have been put off with no foreseeable times stamp.... what is the point.
