I know I was just trying to lighten the mood. I am with you on the AV issue I have invested a lot into AV. Proto in FG, Nades and advance in swarms so I am a bit angry. Just trying to make a few chuckle is all.

Absolutely.
THe PLC is the highest skill AV weapon, because of the long reload and single round mechanics. It needs more damage.

I would agree the plasma cannon should be buffed to be a viable AV weapon but then I would have to learn ANOTHER style of play just so I can teach AVers how to use tactics to kill my tank. |

Let us look at this a bit more deeply.
FG is still viable. The breach is crap, but it was always garbage. IAFG is still a potent AV weapon, although it needs the charge time dropped back to 2.0
Grenades are still viable. Core locus still does what it did, and Allotek fluxes will devastate a shield tank. AV nades got nerfed because they were OP.
Swarms got hammered. I personally think it should be that way, because swarms are just a crap weapon to have in a game.
But since they are here, having a fire and forget option be the worst one makes perfect sense. You don't reward no skill play, which is why the PLC needs a buff and swarms can stay just how they are, or turn into an anti air weapon only.

The plasma cannon needs more direct damage. It can already one shot most drop suits so this is not an issue. The splash damage is fine IMO if were talking about it primarily being an AV weapon. travel time is fine(slow yes but fun when used correctly) and the difference in damage between teirs needs to be looked at.

Naww the damage is fine it just needs a slightly faster projectile .
No job is worth doing if you don't get paid in the end .
