What is the punishment for working on both sides? Will I get shot at for working for the enemy? Will the other Mercs look down on me? What do you guys think of a Merc working for both sides of a war? |

They are not worth the time of day, neither loyal to their own people, nor to their patrons.
Mercenaries are fine but to get involved in Empire politics and not be loyal is reprehensible.

Okay. But If I were to follow this path, will I get backstabbed by mercs loyal only to their faction? |

Not backstabbed but ostracised and forced out of FW chats most likely.

That's alright, I'm a Mercenary at heart, and I'm doing it for the Equipment bonus, so I should be okay. Thanks for the good advice, Veteran! I hope to fight with and against you in battle, but I hear you only stick to Amarr contracts. Good luck in your war Goldie!

True is correct. I walk the line between the State and the Federation but my corp is contracted with the Gallente and that's who I'm fighting for. Just means I get a bit of delayed gratification...my Fed LP gets saved up and at some point ill cash it in for trade goods so I can pull some State Protectorate weapons and modules. |

Good to know I'm not the only one doing this. |

You all need to look up the definition of "mercenary".

As a mercenary, that's kind of your motto...whoever's bakery has the better dough gets your attention.
If you a zealot however, best you stick with one...since if you go on either side, well...you'll just be branded a heretic and most likely get shot in the balls/genitalia by some people....don't worry, you can get a new clone. |
